CAT VS SNAKE!!!

Gamma: HUNTER VS HUNTRESS! THIS IS GONNA BE AWESOME, right co-host?... Do I have one?

*goes off screen to check*

Gamma: Nope, nobody here but me...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Forever Falls...

"Dear Monty, did we lose him!?" The faunus yelled to his friend as they ran through the red forest. Said friend was lagging behind, probably cause he was running with a child under his left arm. A tied up and gagged child. A more bewildered than scared child.

"The boss can handle the kid. There's no way he'd lose, Torchwick hand picked him. Just continue to the rendezvous." The other faunus said, trying reassure his comrade.

He was nervous too. But, as soon as rumors spread of a wish granting child, the White Fang took action. They were able to track the child down shortly with... persuasive methods and attempted to capture her. Unknown she had a bodyguard, one they underestimated based on appearance. Needless to say it failed and this was their third (and more organized) attempt.

Ever since the surviving members of the second attempt returned, nobody wanted to partake this mission. This was his chance to move up in ranks and he wasn't planning to stay grunt level forever. Capturing this girl would seal the deal:

"GET TO DA CHOPPAH!" The rookie faunus shout while pointing to said chopper that appeared into view behind a boulder. They were actually gonna make it-!

"Nice helicopter." Said a familiar voice that froze the two kidnappers. They turned around to find that white haired monster casually standing next to them. "Thanks for leading me here. Think we'll use it after I kill you guys."

"DAMMIT!" Cried the newbie faunus and desperately slashed at Killua with his Kama. His target vanished but left him with a snapped arm. "AAAAAAAAURGH!" The noob faunus screamed clutching his exposed bleeding bone as his arm dangled from the skin. His more experienced partner, while trying to remain calm, used his instincts to track his target and readied a sharp weapon with his free hand.

"Show yourself or I'll kill her!" Maybe he can bargain his way out. If the boss died, then there's no way he'd stand a chance. Fortunately, Killua appeared. Unfortunately, Killua appeared behind the faunus and sliced his head off with his sharpened nails. As the body toppled, Killua caught the child and set her down gently.

The remaining (and crippled) faunus crawled away as Killua stalked closer, picking up the dropped Kama with cold eyes. "Listen kid, I was just following orders! Please! I'll give you money-" The Kama sliced through his head at blinding speed. Silencing him. But his head still made a disgusting sound as it split in two.

He sighed. It had been a stressful week dealing with these weirdos. But at least now they could escape using this helicopter. Killua walked over to Alluka and gave her a warm smile. She responded positively despite the previous massacre. "Sorry I let them take you. " He apologized, trying to untie her ropes. "That dude with the chainsaw was really stubborn. But don't worry, your brother's always here for you." Seeing that uniting wasn't gonna cut it, maybe his sharpened nails could? Killua lifted his hand for a vertical slice...

Until something bonked his head, staggering him. Another force launched his body into the air, landing flat on his face.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Blake was glad she skipped breakfast. Well... not glad, but fortunate since she was following a trail of dead White Fang bodies and her stomach would've hair-balled any contents it contained. She also unknowingly passed a familiar chainsaw wielding White Fang member with a gaping hole in his left chest. Determined and pretty pissed, she followed the sound of a blood curdling scream.

Blake picked up speed, she wanted the White Fang stopped, but not like this. They were lost and needed a new leader. Not to be murdered. Following a lead on their latest kidnapping operation, Blake took the chance to stop it. 'This might've been easier with Ruby and the others... but... I won't let them get hurt again because of me. This is my problem. Not theirs.' Blake internally decided while coming upon the commotion.

"Listen kid, I was just following orders! Please! I'll give you money-" The White Fang member stuttered before having a Kama slice his head off. Blake closed her eyes for a few seconds then reopened them. She was infuriated but confused that a child was able to do all this. Blake was about to reveal herself and demand some answers, until the boy was behind a tied up girl, hand posed to strike.

No. She wasn't gonna let that happen. The huntress ran out and threw Gambol at the kid's head with a followed up kick to his back, launching him into the air and landing flat on his face.

"I don't know who you are... but, you're not hurting anyone again!" Blake took a defensive stance in front of the girl and reeled Gambol back in. "I'm taking you in for several counts of murder, you'll pay for the fallen faunus lives!"  Blake looked down at the girl and gave her a 'you're safe now' look and focused sternly back to Killua. She didn't see Alluka's confused stare.

Killua slowly picked himself up and turned around, his expression gave Blake his intentions.

"I'm tired of you animal freaks." Alluka took that moment to crawl away like a Caterpie to a safer spot to watch. Killua began to advance.

Narrowing her eyes, Blake advanced too, positively triggered from that comment. Animal instincts warning her this wasn't a kid to underestimate and needed to be put down.

'This one's no amateur. Didn't even detect her hiding' Killua activated his Rhythm Echo, creating multiple afterimages which sprinted towards Blake. The huntress recognized said technique; familiar to her own. Letting them attack, their bodies phasing through her until the real one attacked Blake from behind, trying to pierce her spine with his nails. Blake shadow cloned and reappeared behind Killua, swiftly smacking him down with Gamboul Shroud. 'W-what? Is that an advance Rhythm Echo?' Killua recovered by pushing on the ground, launching him to a safe distance.

Or so he thought. Blake fired her weapon. Acting quickly, he picked up the Kama from the faunus corpse. Using Shu (basically his aura) to enhance the weapon. Killua blocked a few shots before quickly jumping in the surrounding  dense trees, darting around Blake from above.

Suddenly from nowhere, the Kama came flying at her from a tree. Having no time to dodge she substituted her decapitation with a shadow clone, only for Killua to appear in front of her. The assassin grasped Blake's trigger hand with his own, partially emptying her clip in the air while simultaneously pulling back his free hand to pierce Blakes heart. The faunus responded by grabbing his weaponized hand inches before impalement.

The two were dead locked. Just glaring at each other before Killua brought his leg up for a quick strike. Which hit nothing. Blake substituted for a shadow clone again, but made of fire. The clone detonated and the impact blew Killua away. Blake used this opportunity to reappear running along side his smoking flying form. Taking advantage of this opening, she grappled his leg with her weapon and reeling him in for a combo.

But, as soon as she reeled, an electrical current shocked Blake, paralyzing her body and managing a yelp. 'NOW!' Killua internally shouted. Still being reeled, he used the momentum and opening to crawl Blake's face off with sharpened nails.

*SLICE*

Having landed behind his opponent, Killua turned around and noticed her head was still intact, besides the four bleeding cuts on her cheek, he was surprised by the outcome. 'Dammit, more durable than she looks. Must have a strong Ken control.'

Blake on the other hand recovered from the attack and shock, her aura slowly closing the cuts. Her bow fell to the ground, sliced up and revealing her kitty ears. Turning around, Blake noticed Killua's body and clothes were singed, but didn't seem too bothered. 'He's slippery, I need to be careful of those electric attacks.'

Noticing her Gamboul was still attached to his leg, Blake reeled it back, tripping Killua. Blake rushed while he lost his footing. Killua stumbled backwards, he jump straight up before Blake could cleave him. But, she shadow stepped above the boy, splitting her weapons in two, the huntress sliced away at Killua midair.

She continued to gracefully juggle him, tearing his clothing away and leaving bleeding cuts before ax kicking Killua down to the ground. Blake shadow stepped down to his prone body for impalement, until Killua rolled to the side a few feet away, leaving her blade impaled in the ground. The hunter rose as Blake freed her sword, his head hunched over until a switch turned inside him.

[stop music]

Blake shadow stepped behind Killua for another combo, but he swerved away while turning towards Blake, the movement snake like. His arms noodled around Blake's own in a blur, leaving several cuts. Killua snatched Gamboul's twin half and proceeded to slice away in a unorthodox manner, forcing Blake to shadow clone behind him to deliver a kick. Which he seemed to expect and rose a leg back to counter Blake's own from hitting his back (he took the impact by focusing Ken in his legs). Killua twisted around and chucked the sword hard at Blake's head, which the faunus tilted to dodge (cutting her hair in the process).

Though that was Killua's intention, the sword flying over the horizon. Never to be found again. They both jump backwards to gain distance.

'Damn, I only have one mag left. Need to make these shots count. Wait, I have an idea...' Blake reloaded while her aura continued healing her wounds, staring down Killua.

'Her Nen is the problem.' The assassin used Gyo to check Blake's aura. 'But it's weaker than before...' Killua readied his Yo-Yo, eyes locked on Blake.

The young boy launched his Yo-Yo at Blake, who shadowed outta the way. Not appearing directly behind him like Killua expected, Blake appeared on a tree branch to his left and unloaded. Killua side stepped away and jerked his Yo-Yo arm toward Blake. She disappeared as the Yo-Yo destroyed the tree she once occupied. Killua reeled the Yo-Yo in and raced trough the forest, Blake followed above by hopping through tree branches.

Blake reappeared in front of him and threw Gamboul at him. Upon instinct, Killua stepped outta the way only for the sword to fire, redirecting itself to hit Killua. He flinched and was hit again and again by the ricocheting weapon. Having enough, Killua grabbed Gamboul and pulled the ribbon, launching Blake at him. Using Ken on his hand and sharpening them, Killua moved in an instant and impaled Blake's prone body through the face.

Except she substituted for an ice clone at the last millisecond. Killua was left with his arm stuck in the clone's icy face. Before he could even struggle to escape, Blake appeared behind the boy, yanked Gamboul back, and quickly decapitated him.

[stop music]

Blake sighed, relaxed her shoulders, and sealed her weapon. "Finally... Now where's that little girl?". Blake wiped sweat off her forehead before turning around, beginning her search for Alluka... Until her ears picked up movement behind her. She couldn't even investigate before a Yo-Yo bonked her head, staggering Blake. Another force launched her body into the air and she landed face first in grass.

"Man, that caught me by surprise!" Said a muffled voice. Blake rolled around to see Killua's headless body standing over her. Blake was stunned, how was he alive? Or even talking for that matter? All was revealed when Killua's smirking head popped outta his shirt; showing he just tucked his head in. What also revealed was Killua holding her weapon. That was likely glossed over because of the headless issue.

Afraid he'd use it against her, Blake shadow stepped to a safe distance and reeled Gamboul back. Blake glared and fired at Killua. Or she would have if any bullets came out. "I think you need this for that." Killua said as he held up her ammo clip.

'That little-' Breaking her train of thought was Killua actually tossing the clip to her. Out of instinct she reached to grab it. Which would've happened if Killua didn't blow it up with a lightning bolt mid-way. Said explosion was bigger than he expected and covered the area in colorful smoke. Blake knew he'd take advantage of this and focused her hearing, for some reason she didn't hear him coming straight for her through the smoke.

After attacking him, he disappeared, revealing it was an afterimage. Suddenly, Blake found her upper body constricted by a Yo-Yo wire. Said wire was too strong to break with sheer strength. The smoke cleared revealing Killua standing a good distance smirking, holding the other end. Before she could shadow away, the huntress was hit by a stream of electricity. The onslaught was too much and elected a scream from Blake. Satisfied that his opponent was indeed trapped, Killua kept pouring on the electricity. He was gonna play this safe and continue till she roasted.

Blake's clothes began to catch fire. 'N-No, I won't let it end here!' Blake grasped the wire with a wobbly hand. Every second felt more excruciating. 'I haven't stopped the White Fang!' She lifted Gamboul. 'I need to meet my friends again!' Gritting her teeth, the huntress weakly sawed at the wire. Killua raised an eyebrow, seeing the faunus attempt to escape. 'But most importantly... I haven't apologized to YANG!' With that final determination, Blake cut the wire as hard as she could, severing the connection and leaving Killua baffled.

The rest of the wire fell from from her smoking body as the faunus heaved. Blake just stared at him with the coldest of eyes, aura healing her singed body. Blake took another moment before sprinting towards Killua with a roar. "Tch!" Killua gritted before skipping back to gain distance. But, she was fast and closed whatever distance. Slamming Gamboul's blunt end to his head, then a few jabs to the face, and finally a kick into the stomach which launched Killua airborne.

Blake wasn't done yet. The huntress shadow stepped next to him, slicing up his body before shadow stepping to his opposite side and doing the same. Kill's body was bounced around, at the huntress' mercy. Blake appeared back on the ground, threw her weapon straight up  which impaled Killua's arm and pulled. His body came crashing to the ground, creating a small crater.

Killua heaved, his body surround in cuts. Most were bleeding. There was also a sword stuck in his arm that was violently yanked out. Blake took no chances. She stomped on his battered chest and put Gamboul's blade through his head.

[stop music]

More like down on dirt. Killua disappeared right before the final attack. Blake looked around for her opponent, tired of him escaping death. Suddenly, she heard electrical crackling from behind that made her hair stand up. Turning around, Blake noticed Killua's change in looks. His hair was longer and spikier, more noticeable was his illuminating form surrounded by electric currents. This was his Godspeed. Staring at her with half-lidded eyes, Killua suddenly vanished, leaving behind a electrical current. Blake felt a pain in her nose as Killua reappeared infront of her, having already decked her in the face.

This repeated a few times, Killua aimed for different spots of her body as he'd attack and vanish. Before Blake shadow cloned away, he appeared where she did, giving the catgirl no time to react, he shocked her with Whirlwind; a powerful electric shock. Blake screamed and was abruptly silenced when Killua uppercut her jaw, sending her flying. He then appeared again where Blake was hurdling and ax kicked her down through a tree.

Blake tried to pick herself up, 'I need to catch him off guard...' She saw Killua approaching slowly. Before he striked, Blake put up another shadow clone, reappearing a safe distance the huntress unleashed a volley of razor aura shockwaves at the hunter.

Killua was able to side step them while advancing on Blake, zigzagging like lightning. He delivered a gut punch that sent her skidding across the ground. "Ack! HK!" Blake coughed, holding her stomach, something diffidently broke. 'Argh, too fast! Have to take care of his speed...' When Killua reappeared again, Blake shadow stepped multiple times around the boy, when she saw her opening. Appearing over him, she gripped his hair, ignoring the electrical feedback and aimed for Killua's neck, slashing at the young assassin. Just for him to snatch her Gambol again and reappear behind her. "Wanna go for a ride?" Killua grinned at the faunus, sparks crackling around him.

Killua ran away at top speed, with Blake being forcefully dragged along since her arm was tied to Gambol. She bumped into trees and skidded on dirt. Killua kept running until he reached his destination, the parked helicopter. Killua threw Gambol where the gas tank was located then vanished before he collide with the vehicle. Blake on the other hand hit the Helicopter dead on at great speed. Coming to an abrupt (and painful) stop, Blake tried to compose herself, unknown to her that gas was leaking next to her.

Killua landed at a safe distance, having exhausted his Godspeed mode, the boy took out his taser that he carries around to recharge himself. Instead of absorbing it's electricity, he turned it on and tossed it at the hole leaking gas. Blake smelt gas, she turned her head to see her weapon embedded into the vehicle, causing a leak. Turning again to spot a taser heading towards it, Blake put two and two together reeling Gambol back and jumped for her life.

[stop music]

BOOM!

The explosion hit the fleeing funus like a truck, engulfing the catgirl in flames. Killua shielded his face with arm, protecting him. Heat washed over him and he slowly dropped his arms when it felt safe. What was left was a wreckage, encased in a roaring fire. Killua looked at it with uncertainty. After a couple seconds waiting, he turned to find his sister. What stopped him was the sound of metal shuffling.

Blake emerged from the wreckage, skin burnt. She slowly stalked towards Killua, holding Gamboul. Each wobbly step threatened to collaspse her body due to sheer exhaustion (and fractured bones). Killua narrowed his eyes and walked towards Blake, focusing Ken on his arms, enhancing it. Blake continued stalking, her ears ringed, body numb, and vision blurry. But, she had to win.

Before she could make another step, Killua dashed infront of her. She horizontally slashed at him, but Killua grabbed her sword arm, reversed Gamboul, and plunged it's blade into her chest.

Killua let go as Blake fell to her knees, blood seeped from her mouth as she looked down at her chest. Her vision went dark and her body relaxed on it's own. Blake's body toppled over into her blood pool, eyes closing, and final breath drawn.

Kill took a few seconds to look over his opponent, making sure this wasn't some type of clone. Convinced, Killua looked at the destroyed helicopter, they were used to ride that. He scratched his head and looked at his sister, who appeared outta nowhere next to him. "Was that the catgirl your friend fought?" She asked innocently.

"Nah, she's different." He answered, turning back at the currently burning vehicle.

"Aaaaw, I wanted to fly in that!" Alluka pouted. She was also untied too, don't ask how. Killua patted her head and smiled.

"Don't worry, I'll buy you some sweets to make up for it." Alluka cheered and held her brothers hand. The two made their way towards the next village, hopefully no more furries will attack them on their journey.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gamma: -I mean, I don't NEED a co-host. It'd just be nice to have someone to play off of... Oh SHIT, did she die? Seriously? Wow, didn't see that coming. Alright then, I prepared notes for this outcome too...

DURABILITY:

Blake:
The only thing I hate about this character is how underused she is.

--Blake never took too many noticeable hits, except from a giant robot in her trailer and a bunch of small explosions from a swarm of soda cans.
--There's diffidently no evidence of how much her aura can take. Mostly cause she never "lost". But both of those attacks showed she's not good at taking strong hits.

Killua: This kid, on the other hand, has shown how much of a beating he can take.

--He slept through being tortured with a whip.
--Tanked a point-blank explosion.
--Survived multiple sniper shots that barely pierced his muscles. Including another to his head.
--Able to tank hits from an enhancer that could easily break his Yo-Yo, which is made from a super alloy.
--And most notably, took a beating from a Chimera that can easily destroy boulders with their bare hands. Said beating was from a Chimera Ant with an enhancer power up that increases physicality. Said beating lasted a full sunset. Which he only received scratches from.

Gamma: Though yes, Blake does have an aura shield. What decided here was that this kid could survive several impalements and blood loss, but Blake can also heal mid battle. So she wins that.

SPEED:

Blake:
Now here's one thing I know about.

--Her strikes fast enough to deflect machine gun fire with her blade.
--
Dodged shots from the Atleasian Paladin-290.
--
Blake can keep up with characters who can slice through bullets and is comparable to characters who's casual movement speed is Mach 40.
--And her semblance not only leaves and afterimage but gives her a short boost in speed. Which can be spammed.

Killua: This is where someone grills me...

--At 57 centimeters from his head, Killua had enough time to react and dodge a sniper bullet.
--He can move without making sounds.
--Can vanish and reappear behind opponents.
--Moves his hands so fast the become a blur.
--Godspeed
  *Can react instantly.
*Generates a surge of electricity in Killua's own body, boosting his speed to much higher levels.

Gamma: I'm missing stuff for Killua, but it doesn't matter. Blake uses her semblance to give her a short speed boost. Her actual movement speed is much slower. Plus, Godspeed pretty much doubles his speed.

POWER:

Blake:

Yet again, not too many feats here, cause she only had about 3-4 actual fights (excluding her trailer).

--Strong enough to kick people through the air with ease.
--
She can cut through steel, trees, and several other materials with casual swings.
--Kills Grimm with one swing.

Killua: Yet again, here we go...

--About Killua's Yo-Yos, each one weighs 50 kilograms, though he wields them easily.
--After learning Nen, opened a 64-ton gate.
--Can easily tear someone's head into pieces with his bare hands.
--Threw a man high enough into the air that the fall would kill him.
--Tore off a Chimera Ant's head.
--Can dish out over 200,000 amp in electricity.

Gamma: Haven't seen Blake lift 64 tons... giving it to Killua.

VERDICT:

Gamma: I could throw out more facts... which I will. Around the age Blake was protesting in the picture below:

Killua was already beating adult fighters in Heavens Arena at the age of 6. The level of experience is totally different. Not only that, he's a tactical genius. Able to come up with complex strategies on the fly and figure out enemies plans before they're fully executed. Not to mention, he dodged that sniper bullet in his base form. But, of course Blake would've won if Killua didn't have Godspeed. A mode that couldn't last long since he used electrical attack beforehand. What Blake did have an advantage was defense, her aura could heal mid-battle too. Unfortunately it was something that Killua could monitor with Gyo and chip away at.

Gamma: Anyway, next time on Death Battle is- GAK!

*Gamma is suddenly stabbed by Blake's Gambol. The one Killua threw away during the battle...*
Geez, this took forever. And it's not even that long.

Anyway, tell me if you see any mistakes.

*EDIT

Thanks everyone who helped me improve it. Haven't written like this since highschool.

You don't mind if I do my own version of this fight, do you?
